The space series features the moon and the earth, representing the brand's connection to the aerospace industry, while the fruit series showcases a watermelon and an orange.

To further emphasize the brand's identity, Kawahara created a logo based on the moon in Van Gogh's masterpiece, Starry Night. This attention to detail and integration of art into everyday objects is what makes the Theodorus File Box truly unique.

The Theodorus File Box is made of corrugated cardboard with printed paper stuck together on both sides, ensuring durability and a sleek finish. With dimensions of 270mm (width) x 102mm (depth) x 310mm (height), it provides ample space for storing magazines, files, and other items.

Throughout the design process, the team faced various challenges. They wanted the boxes to look realistic both inside and out, which required numerous adjustments to the shape and layout. The images used are actual photographs, including the moon and the earth, which were rendered as 3D models from flat photographs.

The Theodorus File Box project started in March 2020 and was completed in October 2020 in Japan. It is a testament to the designer's dedication to creating functional and aesthetically pleasing products.

Recognized for its excellence, the Theodorus File Box was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Art and Stationery Supplies Design category in 2021. This prestigious award honors designs that are well-designed, practical, and innovative, meeting professional and industrial requirements.
